GRAMPSY - HEAVY CHEST

Firstly, thank you for your time and thank you for being a part of the project. My name is Rob Thorogood, a filmmaker from London currently filming a short film in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales.

So what are we making?

I am making a short film to accompany a new release from the talented, New Zealand based musician ‘Heavy Chest’ (also known as Andre). Why Yorkshire you might ask. Well simply put, the new song by Heavy Chest is a highly personal song about his Grandad, who lived in the little village of XXX. This film is a celebration of his life and the place he called home, featuring the people that also make up this beautiful place.

Why did we ask to include you?

In a nutshell, we are picking interesting people with friendly looking faces to illustrate this stunning part of the UK. One idea in the film we are exploring is that we are all connected as human beings on some level - you may have even met Andre’s Grandad here, walked past him, sat in the same seat on the bus, who knows?

The finished product

The film will be just under 3 minutes in length - mixing stunning landscapes with the amazing people that live in this part of the UK. It will be released online and feature across social media channels.
